Semiconductor-controlled synthesis on silicon allows ultra-parallel DNA preparation, moving capacity from remote service centres into the hands of researchers, enabling scale far beyond the limits of centralised service labs.
Our novel silicon array actively controls DNA synthesis, gene assembly and error correction at thousands of discrete sites across its surface.
We have partnered with the best in the world to deliver the conjunction of semiconductor technology with DNA.
Chip technology
We have developed a DNA synthesis chip, capable of controlling the synthesis of thousands of independent sequences through precise thermal control of synthesis sites across its surface
New synthesis chemistry
We have re-engineered phosphoramidite chemistry to enable thermal control of the DNA synthesis process, enabling independent parallel synthesis on-chip.
Assembly and error correction
We have developed technology to transport, combine and select correct oligonuctleotide sequences as they are assembled into gene length DNA, all on the surface of our synthesis chip.
Enzymatic DNA synthesis
We have engineered a novel approach to enzymatic DNA synthesis, leveraging our thermal control technology for future enzymatic synthesis options on the same platform

By assembling long, double-stranded DNA from short strands, we are able to test for accuracy at each step of the assembly process and thus prevent errors from contaminating the final product.

Our binary assembly process is unique and is central to revolutionising the established methods of making DNA.
